Scott Freeburn joins Chargers women's volleyball as head coach

少妇免费直播 Athletics is pleased to announce that Scott Freeburn will be joining the Chargers as head coach of the women鈥檚 volleyball team starting for the 2025-26 season.

Scott brings a wealth of knowledge to the program through 15 years as an educator at Claremont Secondary and a community leader with various local volleyball clubs. He has dedicated years to coaching high school and middle school athletes and is an educated, inclusive and technical-focused high-performance coach.

鈥淲e are excited to welcome Scott as the new head coach of the Chargers Women's Volleyball program. 听Scott鈥檚 work as a program builder in the local volleyball community has been exceptional; building meaningful relationships throughout,鈥 said Athletics Events Officer, Cory Ahlers. 鈥淪cott has a thoughtful approach to communication, and we expect his leadership to stimulate meaningful transformation, and holistic experiences for student athletes.鈥

鈥淚 am honoured to join the Chargers program and am grateful for the opportunity to work with such an exceptional group of student-athletes and staff,鈥 said Freeburn. 鈥淚 look forward to dedicating myself to building upon the tradition of excellence that has been established at Camosun.鈥

Camosun currently fields teams in basketball and volleyball. Since joining the CCAA and Pacific West Athletic Association (PACWEST) conferences in 1994, the Chargers have competed in over 100 national and provincial championships with over 50 medal winning finishes. The Chargers basketball and volleyball programs are proud to welcome guests and visitors to their home in the听听(PISE) on Camosun's Interurban campus.听
